Tenée was born and raised in Bolton Landing. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech and then returned to her hometown in 1993 after working in Washington, DC, southern New Jersey, and Martha’s Vineyard. Tenée has been with JMZ Architects and Planners in downtown Glens Falls ever since. She became the President of the firm in 2009. JMZ is a nationally certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise.
For over 30 years, Tenée has served on the boards of community organizations, including Adirondack Regional Chamber of Commerce, Glens Falls Hospital, Hyde Collection art museum, and Warren County Economic Development Council. She has been a director at Arrow Financial Corporation and Arrow Bank for over a decade, and is the first woman to serve as the board chair for both.
Tenée enjoys boating, paddleboarding, tennis, and traveling with her husband Jim.
