Mark Frost


Mark Frost is the publisher and editor of The Chronicle, the “locally owned, locally committed” weekly newspaper that he founded in 1980 and continues to own and operate in Glens Falls, New York. The Chronicle’s emphasis is to spotlight “who’s making progress.”

Among Mark’s community involvements:

Mark was a founding director in creating the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls.

The Chronicle was the original and continues as presenting sponsor of the Glens Falls Kiwanis Club’s Taste of the North Country.

For more than 30 years, elementary and middle school winners of the Iroquois Reading Council’s Newspapers in Education contest spent an afternoon as working journalists with Mark at the Chronicle.

The Warren County Bar Association presented Mark its Liberty Day citizenship award in 2019.

Mark was born, raised and lives in Glens Falls with his wife Sandra Hutchinson. They have two adult sons and two Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers.
